Senior Structural BIM Specialist Full Time

Our client is seeking a creative and technically strong Senior Structural BIM Specialist with a passion for structures, construction, and BIM innovation. This role is focused on delivering high-quality BIM projects, leading complex modeling activities, and supporting the continued development of BIM standards and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage 3D Revit models for design development across a variety of project types, including large and complex buildings.
• Develop high-quality construction documents from initial production through construction administration.
• Apply knowledge of building structures and construction practices to BIM production.
• Maintain efficient, organized BIM project folders and documentation.
• Resolve BIM planning and coordination issues while supporting project schedule and budget objectives.
• Participate in regular project team meetings and communicate project status.
• Provide technical support for Revit and AutoCAD.
• Help develop and implement Revit standards and mentor staff on BIM best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve modeling efficiency and productivity.
• Apply project-specific BIM standards to drafting and modeling activities.
• Review modeling and drafting work for accuracy and technical quality.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of BIM guidelines.
• Participate in technical development initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• 6+ years of Autodesk Revit 2023–2026 and related BIM software experience in structures or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Forma / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with Navisworks and Revizto.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Studio Sessions.
• Experience using Revit add-ins and third-party productivity tools such as Ideate Software, Dynamo, and pyRevit.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD in a structural engineering or architectural environment.
• Experience managing construction-document production from start to finish.
• Experience with large-scale building projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM modeling productivity and efficiency.
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined modeling practices.
• Ability to solve complex Revit modeling and project challenges, including custom families and parameters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction experience.
• Experience with healthcare, education, civic, science and technology, or industrial/manufacturing projects.
• Associate’s degree or Revit Structure Certified Professional credential.

Compensation

$99,000–$120,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic differentials, education, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
