A strong opportunity is available with our client for a Bridge/Transportation Engineer supporting a range of transportation infrastructure projects. Positions may be based in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, or New Orleans, Louisiana, with additional opportunities across the client’s offices in Texas, Mississippi, and Alabama.
The Role
- Design and analyze bridge and transportation infrastructure projects.
- Produce engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Evaluate existing structures and transportation infrastructure.
- Participate in project planning, design reviews, and technical coordination.
- Work closely with internal teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide engineering support throughout project delivery and construction.
- Assist with resolving technical challenges and developing effective engineering solutions.
- Ensure project work meets relevant engineering standards and specifications.
What You Bring
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience within bridge, transportation, structural, or civil engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles and technical standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and collaborate effectively with project teams.
- PE licensure, EIT status, or progress toward professional licensure is beneficial.
Primary Louisiana Locations: Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and New Orleans.
Additional Office Locations: Texas, Mississippi, and Alabama.
