We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and market expansion for our forensic engineering services. The ideal candidate is a hunter who thrives on generating new business and a closer with a proven ability to convert leads into long-term clients. You will use a consultative selling approach to deeply understand client needs, positioning our firm as their preferred forensic engineering partner. This role will involve attending industry-specific trade shows and claims association events to build relationships with key stakeholders in the legal, insurance, and construction sectors.
Requirements include:
- 3+ years of business development experience, preferably in forensic engineering or related fields (legal, insurance, construction).
- Strong consultative selling skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience attending trade shows and industry-specific events.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target key sectors such as law firms, insurance companies, government agencies, and construction firms that require forensic engineering services.
- Proactively generate new business through direct outreach, networking events, and digital marketing.
- Use a consultative selling approach to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to build relationships and generate leads.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers in targeted industries.
- Maintain client engagement, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
- Develop referral programs with key industry partners to drive recurring business.
