CAD Manager / Civil Designer Full Time NEW

An excellent opportunity is available with our client for an experienced CAD Manager / Civil Designer to support the successful delivery of transportation infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a drafting professional who enjoys producing high-quality technical drawings, improving CAD standards, and working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

You’ll contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and preliminary design through construction documentation, while helping ensure consistency and quality across engineering deliverables.

What You’ll Do

• Produce and maintain detailed civil engineering drawings and plan sets.
• Prepare documentation for planning, design, and permitting activities.
• Manage drafting standards and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers throughout project delivery.
• Maintain drawing databases and ensure document accuracy.
• Deliver quality work while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience supporting civil engineering or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a desire to continue developing professionally.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related discipline is preferred.
