Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects in the Ocala area. This opportunity is suited to a technically minded professional who can work collaboratively with project teams and contribute to high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of civil engineering projects.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Assist with project planning, permitting, and coordination activities.
- Apply sound engineering principles and applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and other team members.
- Review project information and identify potential design or technical issues.
- Assist with project schedules and deliverables.
- Support projects from initial planning and design through construction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of fundamental civil engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and technical information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Familiarity with commonly used civil engineering design and documentation practices.
Salary Range: $125,000 to $135,000, based on experience.
