Our client is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support the investigation, analysis, and design of projects across the Ocala area. This opportunity is suited to an engineer with strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and an interest in solving practical subsurface and foundation challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Support geotechnical investigations and field activities.
- Evaluate soil and subsurface conditions.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, calculations, and technical recommendations.
- Perform geotechnical analysis related to foundations, earthwork, settlement, and site conditions.
- Provide engineering input for site development and construction projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and project information.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, contractors, and other consultants.
- Assist with construction observation and geotechnical testing activities as required.
- Provide technical support during project delivery and construction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and meet project deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
- Understanding of soil mechanics, foundations, and earthwork.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare clear technical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and a practical approach to engineering challenges.
Salary Range: $125,000 to $135,000, based on experience.
