Project Engineer – Water Resources Full Time

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer specializing in Water Resources to join their team in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced civil engineer with 5–10 years of relevant experience who can contribute to water resources projects from design through delivery. A PE license is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage water resources engineering designs for civil infrastructure projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, drainage studies, and engineering calculations.
• Design stormwater management, drainage, and related water resources systems.
• Prepare plans, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate project activities with engineers, surveyors, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Review technical work and ensure designs meet applicable standards and project requirements.
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, permitting, and delivery.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong background in water resources, stormwater, drainage, or related civil engineering.
• Experience with water resources project design and delivery.
• PE license preferred.
• Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
