Our client is seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to lead complex engineering assignments from planning through delivery. This role combines technical leadership, project management, client relationship development, and mentorship within a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects or larger projects of moderate complexity, maintaining scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Develop project plans, scopes, and design criteria and oversee execution by project teams.
- Perform construction administration activities throughout project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.
- Prepare fee proposals and assist with project pursuits.
- Monitor project financial performance, including budgets and receivables.
- Conduct existing-condition evaluations and prepare technical reports.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and day-to-day support to junior engineers and designers.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable design safety standards and company expectations.
- Coordinate effectively with teams across multiple office locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to coordinate engineering teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple locations.
- Experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexity is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction administration and project delivery processes is preferred.
- Client interaction and business development experience is preferred.
