Project Structural Engineer Full Time

Our client is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join its established structural engineering team in Dallas. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys the balance of technical design and project leadership. You’ll remain actively involved in structural engineering while taking ownership of projects, coordinating project teams, and working directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of structural engineering projects from initial design through construction.
• Perform structural analysis and prepare engineering calculations for a variety of building projects.
• Review and oversee the preparation of construction documents and technical reports.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining a high standard of technical quality.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6–10 years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects while remaining technically involved in design and analysis.
• PE license preferred, or actively working toward licensure.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and applicable building codes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• A collaborative, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
