Senior Accountant – Burlington, ON

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
• Perform month-end and year-end accounting activities.
• Analyze account balances and investigate variances.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Assist with audit and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Provide accounting support and financial information to management.
• Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with applicable standards.

Key Requirements

• CPA designation preferred, or successful completion of the CFE.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: $75,000 – $105,000, depending on experience and qualifications
