- Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and either a CPA designation or successful completion of the CFE. This opportunity is suited to an experienced accounting professional who can take ownership of complex accounting responsibilities while contributing to accurate financial reporting and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
- Perform month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Analyze account balances and investigate variances.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Assist with audit and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
- Provide accounting support and financial information to management.
- Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with applicable standards.
Key Requirements
- CPA designation preferred, or successful completion of the CFE.
- Strong accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $105,000, depending on experience and qualifications
