Senior Professional Engineer NEW

Our client is seeking an experienced licensed Senior Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership, quality oversight, and project management across a diverse land development portfolio. This is a senior-level opportunity for a PE who can combine advanced civil engineering expertise with strong quality control, mentoring, and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level oversight of civil engineering production staff and project delivery.
• Lead quality control and serve as the final technical reviewer for construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Apply professional judgment and provide the required engineering stamp in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Review complex grading, stormwater management, utility design, and site civil elements.
• Conduct constructability and technical risk reviews to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in line with client expectations.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and mentorship to project managers and EITs.
• Represent the organization during client meetings and discussions with regulatory agencies.
• Oversee multiple projects and engineering teams concurrently.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Current Washington PE and Idaho PE licenses, or ability to obtain through reciprocity within six months.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in land development, site civil engineering, or a related consulting environment.
• Experience in a Senior Review, Principal, or Quality Control leadership role.
• Advanced technical knowledge of grading, stormwater management, utility design, and site planning.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for design review and quality checking.
• Strong project management, technical writing, risk management, communication, and leadership skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000–$150,000 annual income.
