Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join its South Florida team. This hybrid opportunity is suited to a seasoned structural professional who can lead complex projects, provide sound technical direction, and work effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and project teams. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Compensation: $100,000–$130,000
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering projects from concept through completion.
- Develop and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and engineering guidance to project teams.
- Coordinate structural requirements with architects, contractors, consultants, and other disciplines.
- Review construction documents and provide technical solutions to project challenges.
- Conduct site visits and assess existing structural conditions as required.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and engineering practices.
- Support project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client requirements.
- Mentor and provide guidance to less-experienced engineers and technical staff.
Requirements
- Significant experience in structural engineering and project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles and applicable building codes.
- Experience with structural systems such as concrete, steel, timber, or masonry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must live in South Florida or be willing to relocate.
