Structural Forensic Engineer Full Time

Are you an experienced Structural Forensic Engineer with a passion for solving complex challenges? We’re seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join a growing and dynamic team in Dallas, Austin, or Houston, TX. If you thrive on analyzing failures, providing expert assessments, and delivering innovative solutions, this is the role for you!

Requirements include:

• Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) designation in Texas (or ability to transfer).
• Minimum of 5 years in structural engineering, with at least 2 years in forensic investigations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, materials, and design codes.
• Proficiency in forensic methods and tools (e.g., NDT techniques, structural analysis software).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and expert testimony.
• Willingness to travel within Texas for site inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and assess structural failures, defects, and damages in buildings and infrastructure.
• Conduct field inspections, forensic analysis, and engineering evaluations.
• Prepare detailed reports, including root cause analyses, repair recommendations, and expert testimony.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, insurers, and contractors on forensic projects.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
