Tax Director Full Time

Our client, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Tax Director to join their team in New York, New York.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to step into a leadership role within a respected and growing firm that values excellence, collaboration, and long-term client relationships.

The successful candidate will oversee complex tax engagements, lead and develop the tax team, and play a key role in shaping the firm’s tax strategy and client service approach.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation required.
• Minimum of 10+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on tax.
• Extensive experience preparing and reviewing complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Proven experience leading and managing tax teams at a senior level.
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
• Experience providing high-level tax planning, consulting, and advisory services.
• Ability to oversee multiple engagements and ensure quality and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Prior experience with firm management, process improvement, or practice development is a plus.
