Tax Manager Full Time

Our client, is seeking an experienced and driven Tax Manager to join their growing team in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The successful candidate will lead tax engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor staff while contributing to the firm’s continued growth and success.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6–8+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on tax.
• Experience preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring staff and seniors.
• Strong client-facing skills and experience providing tax planning and advisory services.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines, particularly during busy season.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Prior experience managing workflow and engagement timelines is preferred.
