Our client is looking for senior-level tax professionals who can provide both technical leadership and strategic guidance to clients. A Tax Senior Manager will oversee complex engagements, mentor tax professionals, and play a key role in developing long-term client relationships and business opportunities.
The Opportunity
- Direct tax compliance, planning, and consulting projects from start to finish.
- Provide sophisticated tax advice and practical solutions tailored to client needs.
- Review complex tax returns and related tax work for accuracy and compliance.
- Lead and develop teams of tax professionals and subject matter specialists.
- Manage engagement timelines, priorities, and client communications.
- Strengthen existing client relationships and support new business development.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding clients’ broader business and tax objectives.
- Maintain a high standard of quality, responsiveness, and client service.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 7 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, consulting, or a comparable industry leadership role.
- CPA, EA, or another recognized professional certification is required.
- Proven ability to lead teams and complex client engagements.
- Strong relationship-management and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and conceptual abilities.
- Creative and practical approach to complex tax issues.
- Experience in healthcare, financial institutions, real estate, professional services, or manufacturing would be beneficial.
