We are partnering with a leading urban planning consultancy to find an experienced Urban Planning Manager for their team in Chicago, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to lead impactful urban development and transportation projects.
Requirements include:
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional consulting experience in urban planning or a related field.
- Proven experience in Business and Operations Management, Business Development, Project Management, and Client Management.
- Experience managing interdisciplinary teams on complex projects.
- Strong ability to conceptualize and deliver high-quality planning and design deliverables.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage urban planning and design projects from start to finish.
- Oversee business operations, project management, and client relations to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and guide interdisciplinary teams to collaborate and deliver high-quality planning and design solutions.
- Drive business development efforts, identifying opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with industry standards and local regulations.
