Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager Full Time

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Transportation Design (15+ years preferred for Principal level).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a project or design management role with a track record of progressively responsible work managing projects.
• Willingness to perform site or client visits.
• General knowledge of project performance metrics and strategies for effective monitoring.
• Interest in multimodal and active transportation design, particularly in projects for bicycles, pedestrians, Safe Routes to School, and transit integration for users of all ages and abilities.
• Knowledge of the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Plan Development Process.
• Experience in preparing transportation and local agency permit documents.
• Proficiency in developing construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project teams to deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure projects across various urban, suburban, and rural settings.
• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of projects focused on bicycle, pedestrian, Safe Routes to School, and transit priorities.
• Coordinate complex project processes to ensure timely progression and high-quality deliverables for projects of significant public interest.
• Facilitate meetings and document decisions through cross-Divisional, Departmental, and Agency coordination.
• Cultivate business relationships with clients and contribute to business development pursuits within the Atlanta region and across North America.
• Work collaboratively with a passionate team committed to enhancing the livability and sustainability of communities.
